Blake is a distinguished real estate broker with a unique perspective stemming from his deep roots in the senior living industry. As a third-generation senior living operator, he grew up immersed in the operational side of the business, inheriting a wealth of knowledge and a profound understanding of the intricacies of senior living.
His hero & grandfather Ron Knutson developed several retirement communities with some of the pioneers in the industry. This inspired several family members including his parents to open their own assisted living in 1994. Growing up, Blake regularly ran the halls in his diapers & was a frequent bingo champion. Watching his parents serve residents exceptionally over the years created the very foundation for his motivation to serve in a different capacity.
Five years ago, Blake decided to leverage his unique background by transitioning into the brokerage side of the business. Since making this move, he has made significant strides, successfully closing 26 deals totaling over $150 million in transaction volume.
His substantial operational experience, coupled with his natural knack for brokerage, allows him to provide an unparalleled level of service to his clients. Blake's negotiating skills and strategic insight are demonstrated by his track record.

Spud is a detail-oriented and thorough member of The Zett Group's deal execution team. With a background in emergency services through his local fire department, Spud has the unique experience of working with multiple senior housing Caregivers and Executive Directors to make residents feel cared for and safe, whether through community events, or emergency care services.
At these events Spud developed relationships with everyone at these communities which cultivated his heart for the senior living industry.
Spud carries this heart for developing relationships in senior living as he assists owners and operators with anything he can, whether it be executing deals from marketing to close, local market analysis, sale comparison research, or whatever may be needed.
Spud became acquainted with Blake while he was playing for his high school baseball team in which Blake was coaching. Understanding they share the same values and ambitions, Blake invited Spud to join the team about one year after the formation of The Zett Group, and the two work together to become the leading brokerage in the Pacific Northwest.
